Dr Tom Smardon

We are pleased to welcome Dr Tom back to the clinic following an extended period of travel. Tom graduated from the Doctor of Medicine program at the University of Melbourne in 2018 and completed junior doctor training in Melbourne's western suburbs. Tom is committed to respectful, supportive, and inclusive care for people of all backgrounds, with a particular interest in LGBTQIA+ health. Tom has experience in Aboriginal health services and prioritises culturally safe care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Tom enjoys the broad scope of general practice and has experience across many common areas, including children’s health, mental health, men’s health, travel medicine, aged care, preventative medicine, and working closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time in his garden, being with family, and can often be found at the local beach enjoying open-water swimming.
